Jessica Simpson began her star celebs career at a young age singing at her local church. In high school, she recorded a gospel music album but the record was never released due to the bankruptcy of the recording company. Simpson dropped out of high school at 16 years old to join the Christian music circuit. She earned her GED and it didn’t take long for her to be noticed by Columbia Records and receive a signing.

The next few years Simpson recorded several albums, some songs made the the Billboard Top 10, one going to number 3. In 2001, Simpson recorded “Irresistible”, arguably the greatest hit of her career although only reaching number 6 on the billboard Album Chart.In 2003, Simpsons career turned to TV. Staring with then-new husband Nick Lachey, reality show Newlyweds premiered. The show was hugely popular and is credited to making Simpson more of a household name, even for those that didn’t listen to her music.

In 2005, Simpson got her first star celebs movie actress break appearing in the Dukes of Hazzard as Daisy Duke. The movie made it to number #1 for the premier weekend and did fairly well overall, grossing over 100 million in total. Several other movies followed shortly thereafter, although none doing as well, some going straight to DVD.

By 2006, Simpson returned to music with mixed successes.
